Welcome back to our series on Journalling for the Sober Curious. This week, we're exploring how journalling can help unpack and process emotions as you navigate your sober curious journey.
Now I hope you can hold in mind what I said before that this series isn’t about me preaching. I have my own relationship with alcohol and over the years I’ve learnt what’s right and not right for me. And this hasn’t been easy. Having had a large portion of my life using alcohol to have fun, let my hair down, and relax, I’m now in a place where I drink a really nice glass of wine every so often, and never more than two. I know what my body and brain can handle now and that’s my limit. Some may say that’s boring, but for me, the benefits I feel far far outweigh the risk of judgement. I also know that I can still have a lot of fun whilst sober. Something I would never have known had I not been curious about what life could look like without the booze.
